Area ManagerLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 100000 to 108000 Category Sales & Marketing > Sales Manager » Competive package + profit share » Great company culture » Career progression About the Role As the Area Manager, your job function is to lead, coach, and train the field sales and store teams to deliver against key operational metrics. Within our company, customers vary from tradesmen to homeowners and it is our role to provide quality products, industry knowledge, and service excellence. This position is accountable for the total P&L responsibility of 3 standard stores, 4 sales reps, and the direction and development of all outside sales within Auckland. Major overall responsibility is to maximize sales and profits within Auckland along with managing the human resources to ensure the fulfilment of all roles within each location. This role reports to the Regional Manager who is overseas in NZ. Key Responsibilities include » Develop and implement region programs and brand strategies designed to improve sales and profits and control expenses within budgeted guidelines across sales and stores, ensuring cooperation and collaboration between stores and reps. » Lead a culture of Sales Excellence through "coaching the coach" promoting consistent language with the Sales Process and competencies » Recruit, lead, mentor, train, and coach sales and store employees to ensure a highly motivated, aligned, and well-trained workforce. » Achieve sales and contribution targets against budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Manage region P&L, ensuring appropriate action is taken to deliver against required financial results » Build productive and sustainable relationships with customers which contribute to the long-term strength of the business and brand.
