Permanent, part-time position
Kia ora, Bula Vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Fakatalofa atu, Kia orana, Malo e lelei, Malo ni, Talofa lava, Tena koutou katoa and welcome.
The Ministry of Education Masterton Learning Support team provides a friendly and supportive working environment. Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in learning support work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with students, their families, educators, schools and community agencies. The therapists will provide a range of assessments and interventions to meet the physical, functional and sensory needs of children and young people in educational settings.
An opportunity exists for a permanent physiotherapist or occupational therapist to join our friendly team located in our Masterton office.
prosperous Physiotherapist candidates will have:
   » a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
   » New Zealand Physiotherapy Board registration
   » a current annual Practicing Certificate
   » sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity and a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
   » a full New Zealand driver’s licence as travel is a requirement of the function.
prosperous Occupational Therapist candidates will have:
   » Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
   » sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity and a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
   » a current full driver’s licence for travel is a requirement for this function.
You must be registered as an Occupational Therapist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act to apply for this position.
expertise of tikanga and Te Reo Maori would be an advantage.
