Our client is seeking a committed sales professional with a proven successful track record in both the Hardware and Specialists retail sector within the Outdoor Power Equipment & Power Tool industry.? This is a Key Account Management role with responsibility for a defined territory within New Zealand, the successful applicant will have full accountability through partnering and managing the relationships with Key Trade/ Hardware Retailers and Outdoor Power Equipment Dealers at all levels. Territory-based role will be located remotely out of Auckland with continuous support from all functions and teammates based out of regional HQ. The BDM and GM will also travel frequently to Auckland to support the individual with their?territory.? Your primary objectives are: » Achieve and exceed sales and growth targets within stated channels. » Manage and grow current retail relationships. » Develop new channel opportunities to further drive the multi-brand strategy?and build market share. » Drive sustainable growth through the development and execution of strategic plans. » Effective initiation?and implementation of Sales & Marketing promotional programs. Other key areas of responsibility include: » Using strategic selling skills and retail metrics knowledge to drive successful results. » Ensuring territory plans and service levels are operating at the highest standard in the industry. » Having total ownership and responsibility for each account - gaining distribution, core range implementation and maintenance, merchandising of product and training of store staff. » Gaining an understanding of Operations to ensure each account is provided with the products and services to grow market share. » Ensuring partners' support and commitment to Marketing plans. » End User cold calling, demonstration and training to support growth of the brands. The ideal candidate ?for this key role will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of Key Account Management and relationship selling within the Retail Trade/ Hardware and Outdoor Power Equipment sector. Essential attributes include planning and organisational skills, business acumen, IT proficiency and an energetic, self-motivated, positive and professional individual displaying initiative to complete a variety of tasks.
