We are also happy to consider a secondments. The Strategy and Policy group is tasked with designing and driving how government agencies work together to improve wellbeing. The practice, knowledge and skills We are seeking for are: » A tertiary qualification in a significant discipline and/or equivalent practice in a policy function, » Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal with the capability to present complex matters simply, » A strong level of knowledge and knowledge of Tikanga M?ori and Te Ao M?ori, knowledge of Te Reo M?ori is an advantage » A sound knowledge of the implications of Te Tiriti o Waitangi on today's society and public service » practice of the government environment and capability to navigate the complex policy issues to provide the best advice and solutions for Ministers, and » Strong influencing skills, able to build momentum and support for new ideas and ways of working.
