This role is to ensure all exports and imports of stock items/ products for are managed and handled efficiently and ensuring all documentation and the requirements for the local and International markets comply with legislation and regulations.

6. General Standards

Knowledge:
   » Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics an advance
   » Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in logistics or exports
Experience:
   » General knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practise and changing trends.
   » General knowledge of health and safety responsibilities.
   » Broad knowledge and experience of international trade requirements and knowledge of shipping and export vocabulary.
   » Experience working with MPI documentation.
Competencies:
   » Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to ongoing development of systems and processes, showing initiative in troubleshooting.
   » Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and workloads in an effective and timely manner.
   » Displays communication, listening and presentation skills to a high level, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff in non-technical positions.
   » Uses appropriate interpersonal styles to gain acceptance of own and other ideas, in line with company objectives.
   » Outstanding written communication skills.
   » The ability to effectively gather multiple sources of information and apply technical and analytical skills to make effective decisions.
   » Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and workloads in an effective and timely manner.
   » Displays communication, listening and presentation skills to a high level, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff in non-technical positions.
