Supply Chain ManagerLocation Hutt ValleyWellington Job type Full Time Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Manufacturing Management » Wellington Based » Manufacturing » Logistics Supply Chain This is a varied position and will see you: » Process shipment and inwards goods notifications in a timley manner » Manage supplier invoicing to original purchase orders » Communicate with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers regarding international shipping » Communicate with local transport companies to coordinate special transport requirements » Assist with any enquiries from both external and internal customers » Inform internal team members of order arrival times and delivery schedules » Prepare shipment costing reports » Maintain shipping schedule information within the system » Allocate invoices for backordered products where required » Process pricing requests and ensure correct approvals are obtained What we are looking for: You will be someone who has great customer service experience and high communication skills with both internal and external clients. You describe yourself as precise, well-organised and can work in a timely efficient manner. Problem solving will be required in relation to delivery schedules and handling any unexpected delays so you will need to have confidence and have some good common sense. You will need to work well under pressure as this is a fast paced environment. You may already be working within logistics, freight or the supply chain industry looking for your next challenge. Or you're a proven Coordinator/Administrator looking for their next step.
