Duty ManagerJob location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Permanent » » » » Matakana located; full time; weekend work; above market hourly rate » Retail background ideal; position of responsibility; enjoyable local clientele » Small team of great people The Matakana liquor store is on the hunt for a new Duty Manager. Sadly bidding farewell to a favourite, there is a new space for a great personality to join the team in this position of responsibility. You will be working closely in a small team of some of the nicest people you’ll meet, and be responsible for: Inventory » Serving customers » Chiller/stock rotation » Lifting at times – nothing too heavy » Staff rostering » Merchandising and keeping the store tidy The roster covers 6 days p/wk with an average of 45 hours to 56 – a flexible situation to some extent, but with the added responsibility of Duty Manager, your presence is key. The shop is open Fri Sat 9-9pm, and Sunday-Thurs 10am – 8pm. Personality is everything in this function. You must be someone who enjoys working with people, who has a good knowledge of a retail environment, and an excellent communicator. You will have a background history of being very honest and reliable, and will ultimately take pride in your contribution to this small and very popular family owned and operated business.
