We're the busiest bar in Queenstown and need your help with potentially one of the busiest years yet! We like to come in hot, and we require someone who's willing to go the whole way with us. The function We're about to open up again, and as such need some more help in the kitchen! this function is ideal for a passionate, hard working individual, with a commitment to high standards and an interest in learning and developing their expertise in the kitchen. Your main responsibilities include: » Making each dish according to recipe, following the recipe to 100% » Setting kitchen up for busy periods » Assisting the head chef as required » Ensuring stock is rotated to minimise wastage and kept and correct temperatures » Ensuring prep and ordering lists are always being completed each day » Ensure the Kitchen is always kept clean and to a high standard » Ensure all prepared food is labelled, dated and stored correctly to avoid cross contamination and minimise wastage expertise / practice You will be required to work as efficiently as possible, in a busy team environment, so great communication expertise will give you instant bonus points.
