The Company
Our client is a New Zealand owned and operated business located in the heart of Takapuna. Having started as a small NZ SME business, this company has grown substantially over the years, and has really grown its portfolio of clients working with some of the largest organisations in NZ from corporate, to professional services, to hospitality, growing SME's and construction. With a lucrative backing, but progressive team, Information technology really is a lovely place to work with a proven long tenure from most of their staff.
 
The function
this function will see you largely doing Payroll for a growing organisation made up of 35 staff in the head office, as well as roughly 300 contracted cleaners. You will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, from setting staff up in the system, to timesheet management and processing weekly payments. With another person working alongside you in the accounts team, you’ll both be working cohesively, and you’ll also take on a range of general accounting administration tasks.
 
Daily, you can expect to be:
   »  Processing timesheets
   »  Following up inaccuracies and missing time sheets
   »  Setting up new employees in the system
   »  General banking reconciliations
   »  Processing payment runs
   »  Filing
   »  Working in MYOB Advanced
   »  Processing invoices and other accounts tasks.
 
The ideal candidate
We are seeking for someone who has strong payroll practice (ideally having worked in MYOB Advanced). Ideally, you’ll be available to start immediately, to ensure a strong handover with the current incumbent.
