The function Play a key function in improving employment and social results to support an equitable labour market through its employment service to help people into sustainable employment. You’ll be leading a team of eight and collaboratively working with other policy teams within the business. You’ll be leading key work programmes and seeing some chunky policy projects across the line. Core expertise this function will be best suited to a candidate that has a minimum of two years’ practice managing a Policy team, you’ll need an analytical mind and practice working across policy and strategy. Having practice within employment or labour policy or health and discapability policy would be ideal, however, not essential. this function will involve cross agency discussions and relationship/stakeholder management expertise will be essential. Other core expertise include: • Proven practice providing strategic policy advice • practice in leading, developing and managing high performing teams • Highly developed analytical expertise • Comprehensive expertise of the policy development process, and of parliamentary processes and working legislation How to submit the application: You’ll need to be a permanent resident or citizen to apply for this function.
