Are you able to think outside the box like Dali but express your ideas clearly like Da Vinci?Tauranga City Council has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Project Coordinator to join the Baycourt Community & Arts Centre wh?nau on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Baycourt Community & Arts Centre Manager, responsibilities include: » Venue booking and contract management » 'Producer' support for Baycourt-presented shows » Providing project and administrative support to the Baycourt team. In addition to a winning personality, we're also looking for someone who has: » A tertiary qualification in event administration, event/arts management or similar, or equivalent level of learning clearly demonstrated through significant industry practice » The capability to work independently to plan, co-ordinate and organise projects » Highly developed communication and analytical expertise, with the capability to express complex matters in an accurate and considered form » Sound knowledge and practice in MS Office applications and demonstrated capability to lgain new systems. Whilst not essential, someone who has Local Government practice, or an knowledge of the theatre/creative arts is desirable. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to the wairua, mana and vibrancy of the Tauranga Moana arts and culture sector. The cherry on top?
