Raukura Hauora o Tainui (RHoT) is an incorporated iwi charitable Trust founded to deliver quality kaupapa Maaori health and wellbeing services to all people living in the rohe of Tainui waka, so that they are empowered and able to thrive and prosper. RHoT's core philosophy of service delivery is located upon ?whaanau ora', or to the building of healthyMaaorifamilies. Furthermore, service philosophies are centred on providing health care services that are accessible, cost effective, comfortable, efficient, clinically, and culturally safe and secure. The key focus ofRaukura Hauora o Tainuiis to ensure health needs of all are met through the delivery of culturally appropriate services within atikanga Maaoriframework. RHoT's organisational mission is to deliver kaupapa Maaori health and wellbeing services to all people living in the rohe of Tainui. Te aahua o ngaa tuuranga – The nature of each position Team Leader – Hapori (Taamaki located) Ref: TLH271 This newly created position is responsible for the leadership abilities, coordination and service delivery of the teams serving hapori related contracts and significant work streams. Services within remit include reintegration, iwi support work, advocacy, and early clinical and non-clinical intervention (i.e., Burglary avoidance, Mokopuna Ora and Whanau Oranga Ki Tua). Managing kaimahi in their day-to-day work you will be providing professional guidance in their mahi, enabling them to undertake their work to best practice standards. A multi-facetted leadership abilities position, will see you managing and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring an improved or recovery focused, integrated, and coordinated approach to care. This includes ensuring effective processes are in place for kaimahi and robust level of collaborative engagement with other hauora providers or support agencies. As such a good knowledge of the health systems relating to contracts under the Hapori portfolio, an capability to navigate support networks and a high level of technical and past expertise in a similar function will be required. Team Leader – Addiction (Taamaki located) Ref: TLA272 This Team Leader function is responsible for the leadership abilities, coordination and service delivery of the teams serving Addiction related contracts and significant work streams. These services include reintegration, iwi support work, advocacy, and early intervention (i.e., Gambling avoidance, Alcohol and other Drugs youth and adult). You will manage kaimahi in their day-to-day work, providing professional guidance in their mahi, and enabling them to undertake their work to best practice standards. Assisting your team to develop and implement integrated programmes which will support the strategic aims of the organisation. Working collaboratively with other Team Leaders to provide outreach to enhance engagement with whaanau, you will be ensuring a seamless delivery and continuity of care for Taangata Whaiora across the spectrum of services the person and their whaanau are working with. Creating and maintaining stakeholder engagement including attendance at meetings, working groups, you will be supporting and leading the implementation of strategies mahi to meet our contractual requirements. Your significant practice in a similar function within addiction hauora related services will be required Team Leader – Clinical (Waikato located) Ref: TLC273 The Team Leader – Clinical services, is a wide-ranging position, reporting into the General Manager Clinical Services and is responsible for a range of community located clinical services. Leading the coordination and service delivery of the teams serving the Tamariki Ora, Maamaa and Peepii Support, Te Ara O Kararo, Mobile Vaccination clinics and Whaanau Pai, as well as related contracts and significant work streams. You will be facilitating collaboration and leading your team, to coordinate assessment, care, and interventions to achieve equitable health results. Guiding and supporting your team in their assessment, decision making, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of care, you will be developing effective working relationships with management, providers, taangata whaiora, and key stakeholders. As such, solid practice, or the capability to demonstrate an knowledge of NZ Health especially in relation to Mental Health, Tamariki Ora or Vaccination services will be required. Ngaa tino Puukenga/Wheako – Essential expertise/practices A significant tertiary qualification is highly desirable for all positions, you may however offset this with considerable professional practice within a similar function. Career backgrounds such as social work, with a Level 4 qualification, NZ Certificate or equivalent Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or as an practiced Registered Nurse. expertise, knowledge, and practice required for all positions is to include: » practice in the leadership abilities and management of staff, including clinical and non-clinical staff. » Registration and membership of significant professional agency. » People leadership abilities, mentoring and performance management practice supported by strategic and leadership abilities expertise to build and grow effective teams. » Previous practice in a leadership abilities position where you have worked alongside iwi, hapuu, marae, and whaanau. » Clinical risk management practice and a solid practice and knowledge of NZ Health systems. » Knowledge of community and social change. » capability to manage crisis situations, preferably with early interventions with taangata. » Sound knowledge of clinical reporting requirements. » Proven evidence of competence and positive contribution to an organisation's strategic direction. » Expert report writing expertise. » practiced in results-located accountcapability methodology to provide reports on service results. » The natural capcapability to uplift the Mana of others. » An knowledge and application of Te reo me oona tikanga Maaori. Individuals must satisfy all necessary requirements for working with vulnerable children and adults, including requirements in relation to police vetting. Flexibility to travel is required as is a current, full, clean driver's license.
