You will need to have a good grasp of mechanical assemblies, and a 'can do' attitude with a willingness to be a team player. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is vital for this direct contact customer facing role and be passionate about delivering a high level of customer service. As the Service Technician, your responsibilities will include to provide overhaul, maintenance and breakdown services for all makes of Blower, Vacuum, compressor and ancillary equipment. Applicants will need: » Knowledge of and experience with blowers, vacuum pumps and compression equipment is essential with a good grasp of mechanical assemblies. » Ability to converse and communicate technical and product information to customers; internal and external. » A 'can do' attitude with a willingness to be a team player. » Basic computer skills (Word and Excel). » Demonstration of analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to determine root cause. » A competent and organized self-starter. » Trade Qualified in a mechanical engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years maintenance experience. » Travel is required as part of carrying out service at customer sites.
