Permanent full-time on-site in Wellington, NZ - 40 hours per week - $85-100k+ located on practice. Due to Covid-19 travel and immigration restrictions, candidates must currently be living in New Zealand with a valid visa.
We're Dinosaur Polo Club, an award-winning video game studio full of lovely people making games in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Growing in size, we are on the look-out for an enthusiastic and practiced Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This person will help us to develop, plan, and carry out exciting global marketing campaigns for our studio and our games to ensure our presence is always thoughtful, engaging, and fun. Hopefully that person is you!
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so you'll ideally have four or more years of marketing practice in video games or other creative industries. Positive and professional with great organisational and interpersonal skills, you will be helping us to establish this new department, and to grow our international presence while engaging positively with our games and business communities.

Tasks and Job responsibilities:


   »
Develop, plan, and execute global marketing campaigns across Dinosaur Polo Club's game and studio brands - including digital and mainstream media, PR, and events;
   »
Collaborate closely with our production and community management teams to create and implement targeted marketing campaigns that drive player engagement and brand consciousness for our games and business communities;
   »
Manage campaign costs in line with allocated budgets, providing reporting and analysis of completed campaigns, and forming recommendations to help guide future strategies;
   »
Support our senior leadership abilities and community management teams by creating high-impact and approachable copywriting, utilising Dinosaur Polo Club's established voice and style;
   »
Utilise a refined graphic design eye to assist in creating compelling content using expertise and skills in software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other digital editing tools;
   »
Demonstrate effective project management skills alongside the capability to manage priorities and timelines, while working to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail;
   »
Build compensateing relationships with our external partners, such as our international PR agencies, collaborating effectively to achieve prosperous campaigns;
   »
Assist our community management department in managing and coordinating our social media accounts, ensuring content and brand consciousness is optimised and consistent across all channels;
   »
Champion marketing and communication initiatives and processes;
   »
Be a part of both a department and studio team, actively seeking to develop a method of communicating that is understandable to those outside of your immediate department.

Required Special Skills:


   »
At least four years' practice working within the marketing field in a creative industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English;
   »
great organisational skills, and a high level of initiative;
   »
capability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently;
   »
An interest in promoting unique and high-quality video games;
   »
Dedication to working in a professional, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Nice to have:


   »
A tertiary qualification in Marketing or an equivalent field would be nice to have, but is not essential.
