Housekeeping is an extremely important function as this is what makes the Glamping Village look polished and inviting for guests - either at a wedding, corporate event, or festival. The housekeeping function involves furnishing the glamping tents preparing them to be 'guest ready'. This involves being a wizard at bedmaking, ideally with hotel practice in triple sheeting and corner tucks. Vacuuming the carpets and generally making those final touches to the tent to make them look beautiful and inviting. You will also be required to make the powder room look fabulous, plus add all of the final touches to any lounge or dining areas. This job is usually tailored more towards those who have a natural flair for finer detail, but by all means not limited to! Setting up entails long days in all weather conditions and quite often you will be required to withstand hot days inside the tents making beds and getting the tents ready for the guests. You will be working with like-minded individuals, traveling for part of the summer and of course, being a part of the festivals.
