We have this amazing opportunity to join us as a Senior Enterprise Risk and Compliance Advisor, where you will be part of a team working across the business to drive risk culture and improve risk management maturity, leading to improved organisational performance. In this function you’ll work closely with the business and risk community to ensure ACC’s enterprise risk and compliance management framework is embedded in our operational processes and practices. Your knowledge of technical risk areas will enable you to take a pragmatic approach, working with ACC’s business groups to ensure their risk identification, assessment and management is focussed on performance and reported comprehensively. You will be part of the second line enterprise risk team, responsible for integrating and embedding risk management across ACC. A bit about the function and what you’ll be doing: » Providing robust research, analysis and tailored risk advice to business groups » Encourage, monitor and support risk response plans. » Participate in the timely production of regular risk reporting for the Executive and the Board » Working with the team to design, develop and implement significant risk and compliance frameworks, guidelines and processes » Providing the first line of assurance with oversight, challenge and advice regarding significant risk and compliance matters. » Champion’s the development of a strong risk culture with stakeholders » Driving innovation and continuous improvement in risk and compliance practices What we’re looking for: » Someone who is passionate about managing technical risk for the success of the business; will be a trusted expert who engages with a wide variety of stakeholders and can be depended on for support » Being proactive and enthusiastic is a must. You will show due diligence in all areas of your work and will also pride yourself on good stakeholder management » You’ll have a strong capability to work as part of a team and be comfortable communicating and preparing comprehensive reports to audiences of all levels » Confidence and practice in working within a corporate business environment and exposure to government organisations is preferable. practice in the health sector would also be advantageous » If you have a consultative style, great facilitation expertise and are comfortable working across teams then we encourage you to utilise your business acumen to make a difference with us What we offer in return: » The income range is $111k to $143K plus a further 9% superannuation. » Professional development opportunities » Exposure to large and complex work » An opportunity to help improve the lives of New Zealanders.
