Job Description

The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand is a charity that works towards creating a society free from discrimination, where all people enjoy positive mental health & wellbeing.
We are seeking for a part-time (fixed-term 12-months) Fundraising Administrator to join our enthusiastic and energetic Fundraising team
The function is responsible for actively supporting the wider Fundraising Team with responding to enquiries from people who want to donate or hold a fundraising event. You will be building a relationship with donors, processing their donation, and supporting them through their event.
For this function you need to be strong communicator and confident in using systems and databases, even better if you have previous practice with Fundraising CRMs, if not, we can teach you!
You will have:
   » At least 1 years' practice in a CRM/database, Fundraising or Administration function
   » Proven practice with database changes, updates, hygiene, dedupe, and segmentation
   » Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly over the phone and via email
   » capability to set and meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
   » knowledge of how to work with people from a wide variety of cultures/ethnicities and life practices
   » availability to grow and extend knowledge of Te Ao M?ori and Te Reo M?ori
   » availability to grow and extend knowledge in the Fundraising space

this function sits within the Mental Health Foundation's Fundraising team and reports to the Individual Giving and Relationships Team Lead.
The income range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 (pro-rated) and will be commensurate to the prosperous candidate's skills and practice for the function.
