Job Offer: Clinical Director – GP or NP:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job DescriptionAmohia ake te ora o te iwi, Ka puta ki te whei aoThe health and wellbeing of our people is paramount » 24 Hours Per Week Whare Oranga is a Marae-located General Practice, providing Doctor and Nurse Consultation visits to the South Auckland community, as well as Rongoa traditional therapies alongside Clinical Health Services within the one whare (facility). We have a great new opportunity available for a Senior General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner who is seeking a new challenge to join our practiced clinical team. This is the chance to be part of a friendly, multi-cultural, very practiced, and hardworking team. You will have a commitment to providing quality primary healthcare, have the capability to prioritise your workload, have great communication and interpersonal expertise, a confident practitioner with exceptional patient relationship expertise, and the capability to work autonomously and effectively as part of our team. Our main patient population are M?ori who can have high complex needs. This position will be challenging within a highly compensateing environment. A background in M?ori and Pacific healthcare and good cultural appreciation with the capability to speak Te reo is desirable but not essential however a “real can do” attitude is essential. Essential requirements for Clinical Director function: » Registration with significant bodies as vocationally registered NZMC / NZNC; » leadership abilities expertise; » Team player with effective communication expertise; » Supportive to a team of clinicians around clinical safety » Can identify clinical risk to the team and organisation » practiced in undertaking audits all over the year to evidence for Cornerstone » practice and capability to lead a team of Health Professionals; » Demonstrate resilience; » Current Indemnity Insurance; » Current valid Full driver's licence; » At least 3 - 5 years' plus practice working in Primary Care/General Practice; » Familiarity or competency in Medtech-32; » Excellent communication and written expertise; » Positive attitude and high level of confidence; » capability to thrive on the challenge this function provides » Strong cultural sensitivity and practice in a cross-cultural environment in NZ is beneficial » Competent with Microsoft Office systems Looking to fill this position ASAP with the right candidate.
