About the Organisation:

Allied Universal Electronic Monitoring (AUEM) is a leading global security services organisation with smart technology providing electronic monitoring services for individuals on specified restrictive justice programmes. Working from their Auckland Monitoring Centre, the Monitoring Centre Team provide critical electronic monitoring services to benefit both NZ and Australian communities.
About the function:
We are pursuing diligent and detail-oriented Monitoring Centre Operators to join the AUEM team in Auckland. As an Electronic Monitoring Centre Operator, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring of individuals enrolled in specified restrictive justice programmes. Your primary function will be to ensure compliance with programme requirements by closely monitoring electronic monitoring tracking devices (through our GPS tracking technology), ensuring compliance, and promptly responding to any alerts. This position requires excellent communication expertise, strong attention to detail, and the capability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Through collaboration with case managers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders you will facilitate effective communication (email, phone) and ensure seamless monitoring services, whilst maintaining accurate records of participant activities, including incident reports, compliance records, and significant documentation.
Both the full-time and part-time functions involving shift work including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays to ensure 24/7/52 monitoring coverage. The job will require prolonged periods of sitting and close attention to monitoring screens and may involve exposure to sensitive information.
What you need to be prosperous in this function:
   » Prior practice in a similar function such as an alarm or security monitoring or call centre is essential, and any exposure to a justice or law enforcement setting would be advantageous.
   » expertise of GPS tracking systems, with good locational nous with the capability to read a map.
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise, with the capability to convey information clearly and accurately, with the capability to interact professionally and empathetically with participants.
   » Strong attention to detail, capability to multitask and the capability to effectively document incidents and maintain accurate records.
   » capability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
   » Able to work methodically to a routine, following prescriptive Standard Operating Procedures, yet able to flex to reactive activities that require the capability to ?think on your feet'.
   » Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure.
   » Great time management.
   » Proficiency in computer applications and data management systems.
   » Demonstrate ethical behaviour, integrity and adherence to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
