The function
Reporting to the Manager, Performance Audits – Sector Performance, the Senior Performance Auditor will lead a team of five Performance Auditors from different backgrounds, including research, evaluation, policy, and strategy and planning. My client is dedicated to helping the public sector perform at its best through inquiring, shrewd judgement and exceptional report writing expertise.

Required knowledge includes;
• research and evaluation
• public policy
• significant government reviews or inquiries
• other disciplines that require information analysis and clear communication
• M?ori or Pacific Island working environments

You’ll have proven practice in writing high-quality reports, strong analytical capability, and in leading and delivering performance audits or comparable pieces of work (for example, research and evaluation or developing government policies). You’ll be confident engaging with people in senior levels of government and select committees. You must be an organised and capable project manager. In this function you’ll be leading performance audits and other pieces of work or assisting others within the team as required.
