Through the lens of the United Nations ?Sustainable Development Goals', we advocate for everyday voices to influence Government policy and decision making.This year we're running a nationwide competition where New Zealanders from all walks of life can submit a piece of original writing across any medium (short story, essay, poem etc) responding to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals how Information technology applies to life in Aoteaora. These pieces of writing are then voted on by the general public and the submission with the most votes wins a $2500 cash prize. This year we're also putting a book together featuring the top 50 submissions and have a few other surprises in store so get involved!
