Background
This client is in the process of implementing a significant ERP "replacement" programme. There is a large number of legacy systems that are being "merged" into one that will impact on all aspects of their business, and they are at a crucial stage of the process. The Opportunity In July, they will be focusing on the implementation of the finance and accounting modules, so require a Senior Systems Accounting Specialist to overview the implementation of this area. With the programme currently "in flight", this is a crucial time that requires an expert who can step in and assume responsibility for this part of the implementation process. Requirements Imperative for this project is practice in the finance and accounting side of an ERP implementation. We are seeking for someone who has practice with a large implementation, and also practiced in change in a complex environment. The reason for the focus on accounting skills is that this function will be the SME for the project, working with other PMs who will have broader organisation-wide responsibilities. We would anticipate that you would have recent practice and have a minimum of 5-10 years in systems implementation, supported by a tertiary and/or accounting qualification.
