Job Opportunity: Calf Rearer- Epic Team And Location:Job description:Calf Rearer- Epic Team And LocationPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($20-25)Job location: Lumsden Region: Southland/Fiordland practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 23/03/2021 Be part of our awesome team at Castlerock, Lumsden. We need a Calf rearer to join our team for 3 months beginning July 26th. We are located 1hr from Queenstown, Invercargill and Milford Sound so there's plenty of opportunity to explore these places on your days off. practice would be a bonus but what We are seeking for is someone enthusiastic, patient and who loves animals. You will be rearing 260 replacement heifers and up to 100 beef calves and they are fed twice a day till they are old enough. The calf sheds are really well set up and have milk pumped straight to the shed which makes your job easier. You will be supported in this function, by being given necessary training and help during busy times of the day and season. The roster is 6 on 1 off. Shared accomodation will available which is a warm 4 bedroom house. You will need to have a valid work visa. We look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested!
