We are 100% family owned and operated. Our mission is to grow New Zealand's finest products for Florists, Wholesalers and garden centres around the country. We are seeking for someone to be a part of our busy vibrant team within a growing company. Main responsibilities, tasks, and tasks may include, but aren't limited to: · Picking & pruning flowers · Sorting, bunching and wrapping flowers while monitoring quality. · Growing and maintaining flowers - Planting, grading and packing pot plants. · Pulling out of existing crops and replanting of new crops · Assist with the maintenance and repair of the glasshouses and equipment. · Assist in spraying of flowers with dedicated spray gear & equipment · Assist with weekend picking when required as per the staff roster. · Ensure that your work and working environment complies with OSH standards. We work 7.30am-4pm monday-friday and half a day either saturday or sunday. All of are crops are grown in greenhouse so bad weather isnt an issue but you must be able to cope with tempetures reaching 26-28 degrees.
