Bookings Specialist (Medical Training!)Job location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Free parking, near Greenlane train station, career opportunity »$28-29/hour to commence, training on medical provided! Private specialist group »Use your Contact Centre practice, any higher education appreciated The Position The function of the Bookings Specialist is a shared one within a small contact centre that includes varied responsibilities, for example to: » Answer all calls relating to your area of specialist training in a warm and valuable manner » Make bookings, taking account of work flow, room & Doctor availcapability » Provide appointment information » Confirm bookings » Follow up calls » Reassure anxious patients » Liaison with internal staff, treating all matters confidentially » Also to upload patient information » Advise patients of charges » Gain ACC approvals » Check bookings are correct » Complete required reports » Filing eg referrals » Back up to colleagues specialist areas » Reception relief if required » Typing medical reports if required Training: » As a highly valued and integral member of the customer services team, you will be trained on reception first before moving into the Call Centre (which is alongside) in order to lgain firstly about all the general specialist areas, patient contact, the patient systems etc! » Then approx after a few months (3) you will move into the Customer Services team as a Bookings Specialist! You » You will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years fulltime practice within a Contact Centre environment, be a touch typist able to adeptly manage different screens whilst on the phone, and be technologically savvy to pick up new systems » A calm, warm and positive person who genuinely cares about providing a wonderful customer service to the Specialists patients » Any additional qualifications would be welcomed, or a candidate with great practice who possesses the cognitive/analytical capability and common-sense to use their initiative if something needs covering (eg if something doesn’t look quite right on a Form) » You will enjoy variety as on occasion (rostered) you will be asked along with others, to provide cover in their other nearby Auckland specialist centres, thus a car is required those days – notice is provided On offer: » A reliable very prosperous group that is going through expansion, an excellent induction and continuing training, promotional opportunities, the chance to practice other centres specialities etc etc » A uniform, free parking, nearby Train station, great staff benefits relating to their speciality » Reviews once trained and performing well, an hourly rate from $28-$29 to start with, 40 hours per week eg between 8am to 5pm but cannot be rigid (ie cannot insist on only ever 9am starts please) » A beautiful environment and of course a warm and fabulous team!
