Junior Business Analyst
Do you want to be part of one of New Zealand’s largest government departments and has a passion for growth and development for their people? Working in an Agile environment we are continuing our journey and are actively promoting agility right all over the Ministry of Social Development.
To enable the Ministry to better help New Zealanders who need our support, we are experiencing rapid growth in our Information technology area to ensure solutions can be delivered to our front line and our clients quickly, and as a result, We are seeking for Business Analysts to join our teams.
Previous skills required to be prosperous in the function:
   » Integration practice in BA Space.
   » Writing interface specification designs that adhere to best practices.
   » An knowledge of SOAP, REST styles.
   » practice in doing Object oriented modelling and Good knowledge of various design (Spark EA tool), and logging (Splunk) tools.
   » Has the capability to adapt to Agile, and hybrid delivery methods with proven skills in Jira and Confluence.
   » SQL, XML, JSON.
   » Data Modelling (using SparxEA would be real good deal).
   » Converting requirement specifications into objectives and tasks, ensuring these objectives/tasks are then delivered within agreed timeframes and resource estimates.
   » Confident in collaborating with developers and various business owners to drive integration solution as well as analyse trade-offs between uscapability, best practices, and performance needs.
Bonus skills to have, butnot essential:
   » An knowledge about XML schema modelling.
   » A good knowledge of WSDL and Swagger definitions to define SOAP and RESTful APIs.
   » Previous practice in working at a big enterprise with lots of services and know how to execute service discovery when a new requirement comes.
   » Delivering complex B2B integrations across multiple projects.
   » Previous performace of data analysis,input and output message data.
   » An knowledge around testing (SoapUI, ReadyAPI).
