The function involves annual budgeting, forecasting, business case modelling, and partnering with different managers to ensure that financial results and deadlines are met in a timely manner. The function will be well suited to an individual with strong technical accounting expertise with commercial practice that is seeking the next step in their career. The function will be suited to someone who is driven and able to articulate financial information to different audiences. Responsibilities » Lead the day-to-day financial processes, ensuring that processes are effective and efficient as possible » Annual Budgeting and monthly forecasting » Responsible for tending and business case modelling when required » Taking ownership of a business unit particularly around month end processes and partnering aspects. » Communicating effectively with key stakeholders as required Requirements » Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a business related field. » Completed a CA Qualification or Equivalent » Minimum of two years post qualification accounting practice, ideally within a commercial environment This is a great opportunity to develop your career and work alongside some practiced professionals to gain exposure across different aspects of the organisation, whilst being compensateed with a supportive team and workplace environment in Wellington.
