This will be for 2 to 4 weeks depending on your skill set. I am looking for someone (or two) who are capable and practical in a farm situation. I have been unwell recently and some physical jobs in the garden have gotten behind, and the horses are ready to come in for fitness exercise before summer trekking starts. TO suit my situation Ideally you will be a bit of a handy person (s), not affraid of using tools, and like gardening and animals. Knowing a weed from a plant and some expertise of plants and herbs beneficial. RIding expertise not essential as long as you dont mind handling horses, feeding, rugs on or off etc. Being friendly, good communicators, honest & enthusiastic is important. I have 6 horses, and an organic herbal garden where we grow and process herbs into medicines for people and animals. You must be ok with cats. If you are really into horses and would like to lgain more about equine therapies this is also a great opportunity. I am a certified tutor for Equine Touch and other modalities. Many of my past working pupils have gone on to be equine therapists in their home countries. Start is asap and duration can be a couple of weeks to a month, or maybe longer. Your "medical status" is irsignificant here, we are organic and dont support no jab no job rulings. Accommodation would be a large bedroom in my house, as the self contained cottage i generally have to offer is occupied at present. Meals are included and you have your own bathroom, shared kitchen/lounge although the bedroom is large with lots of storage, and will accommodate your computer etc. Its more of a woofing arrangement so there will be a certain number hours help required in return for the accom and food, and some paid work on top. I grow alot of organic veges so we eat well, vegetarians no problem however i am a meat eater. Country life practice is essential, a fun sense of humour, and good english please. Skills:
