They offer a diverse range of progressive procedures which means the work is varied and technologically challenging as nurses work across the specialties: Bariatric, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Laparoscopic, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular. The Position Hours of work are Monday to Friday with minimal call to cover infrequent instances of return to theatre. Shifts start between 0700 and 1200, and the latest finish time is 2030 hours. Most staff are full-time working 8 hour shifts, but we have the flexibility to negotiate your hours with the hospital’s needs – for instance, there are short shifts of 5 hours, and long shifts of 10 hours. This hospital also prides themselves on offering progression for RNs into an RNAA. You - practice in Operating Theatre preferred but not essential - Sound level of clinical skills. - capability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent problem solving skills. - Registered Nurse in NZ with current APC. The Package An excellent income is available, working Monday to Friday starting with close proximity to public transport.
