Calf Rearing/farm adjunct:Job description:Calf Rearing/farm adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($20+ with practice)Job location: Carew Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 01/05/2021 We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our team of 4 for the calving season (starting late July- early October) on our dairy farm. We milk 900 cows through a 54 bale rotary shed. The positions we have is :Farm adjunct (Milking, shifting cows, fencing) both jobs require attention to detail and good hygiene practices Calf Rearer, to assist with the rearing/feeding of 300 calves. Animal health is a non-negotiable so a passion for animals is a must practice is not necessary but will be looked at favourably. We have a range of accomodation depending on applicant power and internet available. Must be able to speak English. This is a physical job so a decent level of fitness is required. We are located in Carew which is 20 minutes from Ashburton,20 minutes to Geraldine, 30 minutes to Methven and 40 minutes to the base of Mt Hutt ski field. Skills:
