They have 2 opportunities for a full-time medical imaging technologist for their hospitals. The function: Being a MRT, you will provide an efficient imaging service of the highest quality at all times and provide a welcoming, accurate and responsive imaging service to patients, referrers and funders. Working within a PACS environment will be preferred. Responsibilities will include: » Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and published protocols and standards » Deliver compassionate, considerate and professional patient care » Perform examinations efficiently to keep patient waiting times to a minimum » Record required procedural documentation » Ensure equipment is used in a safe and professional manner » Knowledge and compliance with all governing legislations (including the Radiation Act and Code, the Health Professional Competency Act and the MRTB Code of Ethics) » Maintain knowledge of current professional practice and developments You: » Current registration with the MRTB is essential » Annual Practicing certificate is required » Enrolled in a recognized CPD programme » knowledge of the PACS system » Statutory & treaty of Waitangi obligations » Be a flexible team player » Be able to build and maintain effective working relationships » Demonstrate excellent communication expertise » Highly self-motivated Application Process: Click Apply Now or call Dee on 022 657 9248 to have a confidential chat about the function.
