As the ideal candidate, you will have demonstrated practice in field and broadcast studio production as well as solid expertise of camera, sound, vision mixing, graphics, and other technologies connected with broadcast studio and factual production in a three-year fixed term appointment. this function will see you working on a day to day basis, with students, staff, and outside parties to help run a broadcast studio on our Wellington Campus, working on a variety of creative productions. You will also be working with academic staff to help develop and deliver teaching content. Ko Wai M?tou? Te Rewa o Puanga was established to respond to New Zealand's growth and internationally recognised reputation for innovation and creativity in both screen arts and music. Information technology is staffed by internationally acclaimed and award-winning practitioners and is equipped with state of the art facilities, including one of the largest and most high-tech recording studio complexes in the region. The School delivers two undergraduate degree programmes, the Bachelor of Screen Arts with Honours (starting 2023) and the Bachelor of Commercial Music. The BSA(Hons) offers majors in Film Production, Factual Production, Animation, Game Development, Immersive Media, VFX and Media Technology. The Bachelor of Commercial Music offers majors in Music Practice, Music Technology and Music Industry. The School also offers an Honours programme for Commercial Music as well as a Master of Creative Enterprise (MCE).
