The opportunity The work we do in the MSD Architecture Practice helps to enable the Ministry and its partners to deliver critical social services to improve the lives of New Zealanders. With a newly refreshed Technology Strategy, and the need for significant organisational change over the next decade, we're looking to expand our Solutions Architecture team. As a Solutions Architect, you'll share an important part of shaping the technology direction that delivers New Zealand's social services. You'll have a wide sphere of influence across the Ministry. You'll be a part of one of the largest Information technology groups in the country, with the size and capcapability to make a major contribution to New Zealand society through innovative technology. The Ministry operates a multi-platform integrated environment, delivering solutions to staff members, clients, and the general public. The systems are constantly evolving to meet new legislative need, continually evolving needs of the users and the changing technical landscape including the shift to mobile delivery. » Translating business requirements into architectural approaches by designing system and solution architecture, system integration and realisation strategy » Develop and drive the strategic technology roadmaps for Software Products. » In conjunction with the wider Architecture Practice, set the technology direction for the Ministry.
