About the function The Team Leader Commercial Capcapability and Development leads the Commercial Capcapability and Development team to provide the Commercial Procurement team with capcapability, planning and support services to achieve continuing performance and benefit realisation in relation to commercial procurement across the Department. Reporting to the Manager Commercial Services, the Team Leader Commercial Capcapability and Development's responsibilities include: » Development and maintenance of robust procurement policies, ensuring linkage to strategic objectives and All of Government (AoG) directions and priorities. » Leading the team that acts as the ?front door' to Commercial Services for our stakeholders. » Drive the delivery of the Supplier Relationship Management Strategy across the Department » Lead the data collation, analysis and reporting for the Commercial Services Group » Manage the operational relationship with NZGP as the Procurement Functional Leader. » Own the Procurement interface to the Corporate finance system (Rehutai) Wherever possible, you'll be encouraged to get involved in continuous improvement initiatives, opening you up to engage with others across the wider Department.
