About the function: Reporting directly into the Credit Manager the Credit Controller is responsible for maintaining their assigned Accounts Receivables Aged Trial Balance and ledger. In this function you will drive high standards and actively participate as a key member of the team to ensure completion of set goals and targets as well as provide reporting on collections progress and results. » Responsible for maintaining assigned Aged Trial Balances as well as completing all tasks connected to collection of overdue accounts » Responsible for completing all tasks connected with collection of overdue accounts i.e. calling customers, payment arrangements, demand letters, payment allocation » Ensure timely action for Allocated Payments, Special Events and Direct Debits significant to you » Perform everyday activities related to Credit Collection and Processing such as account reconciliations, credit applications, credit card transactions, trade references etc » Responsible for account updates & Reports supplied » Effectively and accurately prepare any debtor’s file for 3rd party collection as required » Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice as required About You: You will love Credit Control and ideally have worked in a similar function previously. You will bring with you your practice of working within a large finance team where you have managed your own ledger and get that buzz and sense of achievement when it’s in good shape! this function has strong aspect of accounts receivables as well as credit control so an knowledge of both is preferred. You’ll be able to utilise your strong customer service expertise in this function and be someone who is just a natural with follow up either via email and or over the phone. You will also be that person that enjoys the hustle and the bustle of the office environment and working within a wider finance team. On top of your strong relationship and communication expertise you will be able to bring with you and utilise your strong technical capability having ideally use SAP. While industry exposure is not mandatory if you have worked within FMCG too, this could be a real bonus!
