The business’s specific responsibilities include environment management, flood protection and land management, provision of regional parks, public transport planning and funding, and metropolitan water supply. About the function On the hunt for a savvy, proactive coordinator to join the company’s Customer Engagement team to help with vital customer-facing marketing and communications for the business’s public transport account. This is an exciting, fast-paced function, where no two days are the same. This is a great opportunity for a marketing and communications graduate or Somebody with great communication expertise who wants to begin a career in marketing and communications. Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver vital customer communications for planned disruptions to the transport network. These can range from changes due to roadworks, Christmas parades or sports events. You will also be managing small campaigns for the transport account, such as our support of Pink Shirt day, or our regular Design a bus competitions. You will also support the team by: • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to agree on key messaging, channels, print production and fulfilment of our continuing planned delay and disruption messaging. • Assisting with the roll-out of campaign launch elements – where you will manage small campaigns, but also work with Account Executives on marketing materials for larger campaigns. • Assisting in the continuing development and roll-out of transport sided customer engagement strategy and helping with social media to deliver our transport Media & Social Calendar. • Coordinating design and production of collateral such as brochures, posters and other marketing and communications materials as required.
