Then join our team during our calving period this July! You will be working with four friendly kiwis during our busiest but most compensateing time of the year. We have 700 cows that will all calve over three months (July-September). everyday tasks will include (but are not limited to) calf-rearing, milking cows, collecting cows and calves from the paddock, and general cleaning and farm tasks. We are an environmentally conscious farm, and plant 500 native trees every June, so if you can start earlier than July you'll also be able to get stuck into that too (lucky you!). We have a fully furnished, warm one-bedroom unit with free power available located on the farm, with incredible views over the farm and Mt Pirongia. We are located 10 minutes away from Te Awamutu, close to Waitomo caves, Raglan beach, Rotorua, and just a 2 hr drive from Auckland, so there is plenty to do on your time off. We love hosting international visitors and will be sure to have you over for dinner a few times with our young family during the busy period to make sure you're eating well! The position is full-time from June/July to September, and we are flexible with hours worked and days off.
