Te ?huatunga a te t?ranga – What you’ll do
A Courts Registry agent is critical to the prosperous everyday operation of the district court and makes a huge positive difference in the lives of whanau in our communities in the following exciting ways and not limited to the following:
   » Facilitating the smooth delivery of court hearings through Court Taking, which includes announcing the judges entry into court (in English and Te Reo M?ori), calling cases and general administration of the court
   » Ensure court participants matters progress in a timely manner through the court process by effective Case Management activities
   » At Justice we have a no wrong door policy, using plain language you will interact with court users ‘kanohi ki te kanohi’ (face to face), over the phone or by email to provide solutions focussed Customer Serviceon any matter
   » Working hours from 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday

We want you to have a strong desire to serve the New Zealand public and deliver a high standard of customer service. Our communities are diverse and so are our court participants and our justice kaimahi (workforce) so we want you to bring your capability to work and collaborate with all kinds of people.
You don’t need to have practice working in the Justice Sector, but you’ll need great communication expertise, a passion for helping your community and the capability to multi-task. A people centred and empathetic communication style is highly beneficial. The function itself requires you to have high attention to detail and the availability to continuously improve and learn.

income Range per annum: $50,128 to $70,768. Starting income of the prosperous candidate(s) will be located on their expertise and practice.
