Detailed Job Description: » Review and analyze Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Risk Assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards. » Conduct incident investigations using ICAM/5 Whys methodology to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. » Collaborate with the construction team to proactively address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety awareness. » Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs to enhance employee knowledge and adherence to safety protocols. » Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training activities. » Contribute to the continuous improvement of health and safety practices on-site. Candidate's Profile: » Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-risk construction. » Possess a safety qualification certificate such as UK NVQ L3, NEBOSH, or Cert IV (AUS/NZ). » Familiarity with ICAM/5 Whys methodology. » Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. » Attention to detail and the ability to work independently. » Available to start promptly and must have the right to work in New Zealand.
