We deliver 30+ health and social services across the life span (i.e., from infants to the elderly) and have a team of 100+ people working across Hamilton city and beyond. We have a full-time position (one-year fixed term) for an experienced CLEANER available within Korowai Manaaki. This is a 40 hour a week, primarily Monday to Friday role working from 08:30am to 17:00pm. On occasions you may be required to work the weekends dependent on the support needs of the service. CLEANER - TRANSITIONAL and SOCIAL HOUSING Job brief We are looking for an experienced Cleaner to take care of our transitional and social housing properties and carry out cleaning and minor maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our homes in an immaculately clean and orderly condition. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job done. You must possess physical stamina and flexibility to effectively prioritize your time to ensure that work is completed within agreed time frames. Responsibilities: » Clean, stock and supply designated properties (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ovens, fridges, microwaves, cleaning heat pump filters, windows etc.) » At the end of tenancies perform resource stock take and reset property for start of new tenancy » Document routine inspection and maintenance activities » Carry out special projects » Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs » Make adjustments and minor repairs as applicable » Stock and maintain cleaning supply cupboard, manage inward and outgoing resources » Work closely with Housing Administrator and Property Coordinators. » Follow all health and safety regulations Requirements and skills: » Proven working experience as a Cleaner with attention to detail » Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies » Health and Safety experience » Honesty, reliability and the ability to problem solve » Excellent organisation skills and effective time management practices » Full clean New Zealand driver's license » Basic understanding and knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act 1996 (desirable) » Can maintain confidentiality to the greatest extent If you meet our criteria and are looking for a role in an exciting organisation, then this role is for you!
