About our group and team The Early Learning Operations and Funding Group is responsible for superviseing the regulations and funding of over 5,000 early learning services and k?hanga reo in New Zealand. A key function of our work is in ensuring that the funding rules are well understood and that early learning services know what is expected of them to comply with the funding framework to ensure New Zealand’s youngest group of learners thrive. If you have practice in public funding or advisory functions, we can offer challenging, interesting and varied work that will test your thinking and expertise. About this function The Adviser is a member of the team responsible for ensuring that correct ECE funding entitlements are delivered to early childhood service, k?hanga reo, playgroups and other service providers in a timely and accurate manger. The adviser will manage and process funding forms, administer the secure data portal, provide written responses to enquiries and ensure all data is correctly recorded. The adviser will work with the senior advisers to provide ECE funding to all early childhood services, k?hanga reo, playgroups and other contracted service providers nationally.
