Offer: Senior Advisor – Early Learning Information:MinEducationJob description:Job Description»Early Childhood Education»Early Learning Information team »About our group and team The Early Learning Operations and Funding Group is responsible for superviseing the regulations and funding of over 5,000 early learning services and k?hanga reo in New Zealand. A key function of our work is in ensuring that the regulations are well understood and that early learning services know what is expected of them to comply with the regulatory framework to ensure New Zealand’s youngest group of learners thrive. A key function of the Early Learning Information team is progressing a key programme of work to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely information, collecting information on each child’s participation in ECE. This is part of an increasing focus on children making a stronger start in their early learning. If you have practice in systems and advisory functions, we can offer challenging, interesting and varied work that will test your thinking and expertise. About this function The Senior Adviser ELI is responsible for ensuring that early learning service submit quality data to the Ministry. The senior adviser will deal with complex enquiries and issues that require specialised knowledge and knowledge for resolution. The senior adviser will work with the lead adviser to maintain an overview of the Early Learning Information system (ELI), provide guidance and identify practical solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality advice and support for the key stakeholders and early learning sector. In addition, the senior adviser will be able to analysis complex problems using advanced analytical expertise and provide an appropriate solution considering the context, risks and challenges. The function requires time critical tasks with resilience and composure when the going gets tough. We offer an environment where every day is different and challenging.
