Our plant nursery team is expanding and We are seeking to hire several new staff. We grow perennials and natives and have an amazing team with lots of different backgrounds and skill sets coming together to create a great place to work. It’s an environment where everyone turns up on time every day. We share breaks and some laughs together all while doing what we need to do to keep things moving on time, which keeps our Nursery Manager happy. You might not have any tohu (certificates) or maybe you have a GrowSafe® certificate or your forklift licence, but you are hardworking, love the taiao (environment) and outdoors. You are practical and can do, you pick up new expertise quickly and are focused on ensuring all team members are supported so together the job gets done. You need to be prepared to work hard, be outside even if Information technology is raining, and use your hands. candidates will come from a variety of backgrounds, maybe you have finished the kiwifruit season and want to try something different with more stcapability, or maybe you are wanting to establish or further a career in plants and horticulture, or maybe our Whakamarama location, north of Tauranga, works well for you and your whÄnau (family). The function requires general nursery work across several departments potting, propagation, dispatch and plant maintenance. The function requires a good level of fitness and although we have a compact site there is some small ride on scale equipment that is used. We have several fixed term permanent functions available.
