My client is a centrally located commercial organisation with a focus around insightful commercial information that supports the decisions that have a significant impact to the business.
As a large-scale operation in Auckland financial and non-financial information is of paramount importance in terms of growth and providing clients with improved services and products.
In the Financial Business Partner function, you will be a communicator, analyst, and strategist. You will work closely with the Senior leadership abilities Team supporting key business decisions and projects, building models and leading the budgeting and forecasting process. You will be pro-active in providing insights and take accountcapability for the numbers.
this function will see you sit at the heart or the business with one direct report (analyst) to support you achieve the required results with quality and attention to detail.
Key practice to be prosperous in the position includes:
   » Financial analysis
   » Key commentary to financial and non-financial stakeholders
   » Project management practice or knowledge
   » Monthly management reporting
   » Stakeholder management
   » Advisory practice
Ideally you will hold an accounting qualification (CA/CIMA etc), have excellent excel expertise and modelling practice. You must be a confident communicator, with strong writing and problem-solving expertise.
