Our client specializes in Education Support, supporting people through their studies and providing them world class resources. This is a part-time contract function for a year, for 30 hours per week, over a 4-day work period. Available to start immediately. About the function » You will be working on reception, the first point of contact for visitors that come into the organisation. For many visitors, this site is their safe space that is exclusively there to support them through their studies. » Maintain and keep stocked the reception area - keeping things tidy, neat, presentable, and warm. » Provide administrative support to internal teams, including but not limited to the Executive team, General Manager and President of the Association. This will include diary support, scheduling, taking minutes, preparing documents and generating meeting reports. » Helping arrange meetings between visitors and advocates/support workers. You will do some training with the advocates on the fundamentals of triage and helping students in need. » You will be a key point of contact for the Marketing & Events Manager, supporting them with Organising events, creating content for social media and different ways they can help beneficiaries. » Providing administrative support the elected executive board – organising the meetings, refreshments and taking notes. » Training provided. About You » Strong Administrator with practice in a front-facing function. » Well-presented, with a friendly and valuable personality. » We are seeking for a switched-on and empathetic individual. » Strong organisation and multi-tasking expertise. » A desire to work in the NFP space would be highly advantageous. » System-savvy – you must have practice using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook & Microsoft Teams in a professional setting. » Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
