This role is the central point of contact for their customers, it is key to be able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) to ensure they are meeting the customer's needs and offering the best solutions. To be successful you will need to be customer service orientated, have strong attention to detail and the ability to really think on your feet. Ideally you will have some experience in a technical/mechanical related industry with machining or practical knowledge, however, it will be your willingness to learn that will set you apart.
