This critical senior leadership abilities function will work alongside the Transition Unit in DPMC to drive the changes needed to deliver improved health and discapability system results. Your function is to make connections across the system and confirm that the right things are happening, ensuring we deliver the Ministry’s part of the Health Reform programme of work.You and your team will work in partnership with the Transition Unit to set the direction for the system and identify the shifts required to get there. You will facilitate and support connections across the system to encourage and influence action and provide continuing advice to navigate emerging issues and opportunities as they impact the system as a whole. You will be working closely with the Transition Unit in DPMC as well as other agency partners and stakeholders. You will also lead and shape the Ministry’s strategic work programme and priorities and be a trusted advisor to the Executive leadership abilities team, providing a clear strategic perspective to the Ministry’s overall work programme and supporting decision making that contributes towards overall system change. We are seeking for an exceptional senior people leader who is able to think strategically, can deliver complex programmes of work and effectively manage risk navigating a large and complex system. You can develop trust and credibility at all levels, and your stakeholder engagement and relationship management expertise are widely respected. We operate in a rapidly evolving environment and you should be comfortable working with ambiguity. You will know how to take tactical actions today that enable strategic opportunities in the future.
