We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our client's team and contribute to their financial success. As the Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping. Responsibilities: » Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. » Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation. » Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. » Support month-end and year-end close processes. » Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. » Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings. » Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. » Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. » Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed. Requirements: » Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. » Proven experience (1-3 years) in an accounting or finance role. » Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Xero. » Excellent organizational and time management skills. » Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. » Ability to work independently and as part of a team. » Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. » Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
