You will be working with a team who are passionate about results and team culture. With a huge year ahead and some exciting growth on the horizon, you couldn’t be joining a more interesting and exciting space than we have on offer here. The primary purpose of your function is to be responsible for planning, organising and managing local/national dispatch workloads all over the Auckland site as well as managing/coaching the team members in a productive, safe, effective and accurate manner. The right person for this function will: • Have specific practice as an FMCG Warehouse Manager/Team Leader with a team reporting to them • Have exceptional team expertise, a real people person who gets the best out of a team, but can also manage the less fun aspects of staff management when required • Uphold and adhere to all H&S requirements and Food Safety standards/be familiar with these • Have practice working closely with Warehouse & Supply Chain Management teams to ensure appropriate resources is available to meet the timely and efficient dispatch • Be an excellent communicator, and above all, have a positive & productive approach to all tasks. You will be setting the culture for your team, their productivity is key to your success. • Have a Fork Lift licence • Have initiative and be forthcoming with continuous improvement ideas to ensure the business is running as lean and efficiently as possible. this function is best suited to someone who is practiced in a high volume busy warehouse team, and who has a calm and productive approach.
