Machine OperatorLocation All WaikatoWaikato Job type Permanent Salary 24 to 27 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » Excellent opportunity working for a large progressive company » Great Company and Culture » On-the-job training Machine Operators based in Hamilton or Cambridge required for leading suppliers of products and services to the Balustrade, Overhead Glazing, Aluminium Systems, Architectural Metalwork, and associated industries in the New Zealand market. » Competitive pay rates » Opportunity for growth » A supportive team » Safe working environment » Continuous training » A stable job in these turbulent times Day to Day you will be responsible for: » The setting, adjustment and operation of press or laser machines. » You will consult drawings and specifications to provide input for design/ manufacturing improvements. » You will be encouraged to identify and recommend improvements to reduce machining time, while maintaining accuracy. » Ensuring machines and immediate work areas are at standards is required. » Finding faults and performing operational maintenance on machines is required. » While ensuring product quality standards are upheld. » You will also have a strong adherence to Health and Safety practices. To be considered for this role you will: » Experience ideally gained in a production press or laser machine environment. » Someone who is quality orientated with high attention to details. » Proven ability to prioritise your tasks in a high-pressure environment. » Flexibility to work across a range of machine operations. » Strong communication skills and being an effective team player. » Integrity and professional standards, taking pride in your work.
